My 440 is tired, compression low and leaks like hell, plus everyone wants and needs more power. I have most of it figured out, know what I'm doing to the bottom end. A few top end questions. I am going with edelbrock aluminum heads, does one of their top end kit power packages make sense? My biggest concern is the intake and clearance. It's an air grabber car, will the performer rpm cause problems? Lastly, headers, I know TTi are the way to go, but I've heard some good things about dougs and they are a little less money. Also read the cam in that package is too mild. Thanks in advance.

If I were you, I'd keep and use the stock intake. It should bolt right up to the eddy heads, and you shouldn't have any clearance issues.

I'd go with the stock-looking 440 Source heads and use an aluminum mopar intake or a CH4B.

Its tough to design a top end around an unknown bottom end. Stock stroke? Compression? Piston design?

Will the RPM intake cause problems? Yes, if you intend to keep the air grabber functional. Are the problems insurmountable? That I don't know, others do.

Are you worried about originality with aluminum heads and headers? Store the original parts including the air grabber parts so you can return it to stock if you change your mind.

Is the cam too mild for what? How are you going to use the car?
