It is not a cheap swap. Everything has to change.
Trans, since the big blocks have a different bolt pattern. The 904 you most likely have now wont bolt up to a big block, you will need a 727. Your 904 does not have the same linkage you will need with a 727. Get all the 727 linkages including the throttle cable mounting brackets on the big block engine. Grab the kickdown linkage, and the arms on the trans too. There are many different configurations, getting the right stuff all from the same big block donor car is the cheapest and best way to go.
The rear end in the car now is probably the smaller 8 1/4. It will work, but not for long if you drive hard. Driveshafts are different lengths. Will need the one from the same donor car, or have a new one made.
Takes a different radiator. Inlet and outlet on different sides from big block to small block. If it is an AC car now it will have the bigger 26" radiator you need with a big block. If not, you will want a smaller high performance aluminum radiator that fits your car.
Your engine accessories will all work, but the brackets wont. Get all the accessory brackets from the donor car as well.
People have cobbled these things together many different ways over the years. It can be done, but it wont be easy, and more times than not wont be pretty.
You will be money ahead to sell what you have now and spend your extra money on a complete big block car.
