My 727 has only a couple hundred miles on it since rebuild. Drove it last Thursday and no puddle on floor until Tuesday morning. Big puddle too, size of a trash can lid. Seems to be coming from the converter inspection cover area. Its almost like build up pressure relieving itself after it sits a few days. Any ideas?

if the vent is plugged in the trans this can happen.

i could also be front pump seal letting the converter drain out

time to pull out and see for sure.

Makes sense on pump seal. When i started car the converter was starving for oil i could hear it. Thanks

Can the vent be checked without pulling the tranny?

As i recall it is integrated into the front pump....i would say this is not the issue because this would also cause fluid to be pushed out the dip stick tube or even pop it out all together.

If you still want to check the vent 5 psi air in the fill tube ought to do it.
