727 tci reverse valve body

So this is my second thread, I know a guy that has a 727 tci transmission brand new he is wanting to get rid of, thing is he says it has a reverse valve body in it and he has a brand new standard valve body for it, he says it's a direct swap but I just want to make sure of that, have watched a few videos of changing valve bodys on the 727s and does not look to bad, anybody have any tips on this

As long as the governor and governer sealing rings are still in the trans it will function. If the rooster comb is different you will have to swap the neutral safety switch to match. It will also need kickdown/throttle pressure linkage. Factory or aftermarket cable set up.

If you have never had a RMVB , try it . You might like it. I put 'em in everything. Automatic shift annoys me.
