73 Charger.... need some advice

I own a 75 Cordoba with a 400-4. Rear end is stock 9.25 and the fender tag concerns with the rear end. Also the k-frame is differ for a 400 verse a LA motor. If you disagree good luck putting a 400 into a small block without changing motor mounts. Also compared the k-frame from a 74 charger 400-4 to a 74 Satellite with a 318. Motor mount location is different. Regarding 8.25, if you want a cool setup pull the gears from a early 90's dodge dakota pickup for a 3.55 ratio
 
For the record, there are two different 9 1/4 gear designs.

I'm not 100% when the change occurs, but 3.55 and 3.92 gears are available in the "late" Dakota design, plus an oddball 3.16, or something.

Sure Grip is also available, and standard on R/T.

Of course swapping gears in a 9 1/4 requires setting up the ring and pinion mesh and pre-load, not simply swapping a "chunk".

Finding a 73-79 9 1/4 might be more difficult than finding a 71-74 8 3/4, though.
