If it's been sitting in a barn for ten years, you can bet the gas tank, fuel lines, and definitely the entire brake system will need replaced. Don't be surprised if the radiator, water pump, and hoses are shot as well. And hopefully the engine isn't frozen.

I think a good price would be $9,000, but that would depend on how much damage was incurred while it sat.

The car was stared 3 of four times a year, drove around the block. Just never made legal cuz Lady was getting older. and son were to busy with life. Car was washed and waxed twice a year and interior was wiped down. Little over 2 years ago Grandson changed belts and hoses right B4 he went to Army. Just a little more info. Pics still coming

My in-laws have a 1964 1/2 Mustang convertible that's sitting in a garage like that. Same deal... started three or so times a year (Easter, July 4th, and Thanksgiving... when I am there), but even with that the brake system is shot. The car will probably stop, but you better be riding with the angels. :)

I see a lot of these cars, and Roadrunners, going for $7-8K over here, in Hawaii I guess there may or not be a premium. I doubt there's many of them out there, but for what you guys pay for gas I doubt there's much of a market either.

            2 or 4 barrel?

            SE?

            Buckets and slapstick?

            All those options matter.

I sold a 73 400 cold ac, all power car, buckets, slapstick, 83K about 8 or so years ago. It was MINT! I got 11,5 out of it back then from a father and son from Florida that flipped them. It was original brown metallic paint, white top, 2 tone blk/wht interior. I got it from a buddy that bought it our senior year '92, never ran right so he never drove it. Tinkering one night I discovered it was a bad ignition switch. Changed it out, like new. Wish I had it still. It is now in the Netherlands!

This pretty much sums it up. I bought a 73 Charger SE last weekend. 400 4-barrel dues with original tips. Rust free original paint CA car. Been sitting and needs some mechanical attention, paid $8700
