73 RR Clone?

Elbow grease

No I used a lot of stuff starting with a DA and 80 grit followed by a 2'' die grinder sanding disk with a metal conditioning disk not the sand paper ones followed by a small 1.5'' twisted wire wheel on a die grinder and Hand sanding folowed by more hand sanding and more wire wheeling and finaly a light VERY light and mild Blasting with crushed glass.

Yes all of it could have been done by blasting but you mess up the metal when you strip with it I use it for a light final clean up deal just to make all the metal look fresh and new.
Any time you blast you risk damaging the metal so I try to keep the amount of time to a very bare min. and Extreamly light.

I put a LOT of time into stripping that a LOT of time, Thanks for the question.

alot of work you bet but it will be worth it in the long run, thanks for sharing :headbang::headbang:
