73 Satellite 2door tail lights

Hi, Since I am new on this forum let me introduce myself. I am from Europe and currently looking for a project car. I already made account on "ABodies only" since thats what I was basically looking for.

Now I am looking at 73 satellite and the car is far from original if it comes to paint and seats, I belive it also have bondo filled lip moldings from what i decoded on fender tag. The good side is that it is daily driven.

The question is about tail lights, since I live in Europe it is required for car to have orange turn signal indicators instead of red. And i have several ideas for wich i have to know how the rear light glasses are made - Is it coloured plastic molding or simply it is painted from inside by factory ? I would also be thankfull if somebody could send me picture of taillights when pressing brake pedal and with turn signals. Thanks!

They are red, not orange, and the plastic is red colored plastic, not painted. This is pretty much how all american car tail light lenses are made.

The brake light and turn signal is the same bulb so you cannot change
Most North American cars and trucks are like that

I’d just modify them with amber LED’s in the OG lenses.
