Ok folks, I have had the car running for a while but need to get it aligned. I tried a place once but it was a miserable FAIL..The car drives good but the inside edges of tires are wearing.

I have had plenty of Mopars but not one without ecentrics. So how do they adjust this sliding bar? The last guy that tried couldn't get it to budge with the weight of the car sitting on the front end. If you lift it, all the angles change anyway. I do all my own work but not really an alignemnt guy. So how should this be done. He mentioned there was a special tool that was needed to adjust that bar with the weight on the front suspension...not the crow-bar he was trying to use!!!

Pointers would be appreciated.

I just had my 73 aligned at a shop here in my town. Charged me 55 bucks. He Put the car a special alignment lift and it took about an hour. My tires were wearing on the inside real bad also.

thanks...I guess I need to look into that. That's what I am having trouble understanding because if you life "unload" the front suspension..crap changes. I did however today measure the toe and I was toe'd out almost 3/4in...I adjusted that on ground in driveway and the car already drives so much better.

thanks again

I think my had quite abit of negative camber? wearing on the inside of the tires. The slider bars arent straight after he made the adjustments, not real sure what he did. I did watch but wasnt over his shoulder the whole time, I didnt want to be rude. The guy was a mopar man and appreciated the car and I was very thankful for that, cause he did a great job.
