74 charger options and production numbers?

So I'm curious... are there figures that break down vehicle production numbers down further based on each option code the car came with? Like for example. I have a 74 charger with the "M07" code... any figures on how many cars produced with that code? I know spring specials came with a "M07" opera window and the celebrity roof... but how many NON spring special were there with the same opera window and roof?

The Options and Accessories reports do offer a break down of a rough percentage of cars that received certain options or combinations. Some reports for certain years and models are widely known. Some years and models are not.

Due to the way the reports work, you cannot cross reference options to come up with a unique number. You may be able to find out how many 74 Chargers came with a 400-four speed and how many of the total built were blue but you can't find out how many 400 four speeds were blue.

Without seeing that particular report, the answer you are seeking probably doesn't exist. There may be no way to know.

Some of the original factory reports are still out there. Galen Govier has compiled some reports in a reader friendly format. I do not know if he has that particular report or not nor do I personally know anyone that has the 74. Charger report. Start with Galen and see if he has it.
