74 RR throttle cable???

May seem like a strange question, but how does the cable end attach to the pedal lever? I understand the ball end goes through the hole/slot in the lever but is there a retaining clip etc? Reason i ask is mine doesnt want to stay... Thanks

There should be a little plastic retainer plug that fits right into the hole on your pedal. It's pretty easy to loose because of how small it is.... I almost lost mine when switching to a different throttle set-up. Yea, see mine was MIA before i even tryed replacing my cable. Things pritty butchered. thanks for the info. Ill order me one.
