Original knuckle/spindles which are the same, or fit the same, as those originally on the 1974 Road Runner are listed in the following:
- 1973 - 1979 B-body
- 1979 - 1981 R-body
- 1976 - 1980 F-body
- 1977 - 1989 M-body
- 1980 - 1983 J-body
OER MM3068 is a copy of the 1973 - 1976 A-body and 1973 - 1974 E-body knuckle/spindles, with sliding caliper adapter brackets. The 1973 - 1976 A-body and 1973 - 1974 E-body knuckle/spindles are shorter than the listed knuckle/spindles for the 1974 Road Runner, and will not fit with proper control arm mounting and suspension travel.
The following image shows the difference between the spindle types:

The taller knuckle/spindle is used for the added spacing caused by the isolated K-member bushings (whether original or iron, aluminum, or urethane replacements).
The 1973 - 1976 A-body and 1973 - 1974 E-body knuckle/spindles are use to convert 1972 and earlier A-body, B-body, and E-body cars to the later style disc brakes.
The OER listing has errors in its application listings, including the inclusion of the 1973 and 1974 B-body cars.
To connect your control arms to the knuckle/spindles, you will also need steering arms to mount to the lower ball joint. Steering arms from the following can be used:
- 1973 - 1979 B-body
- 1979 - 1981 R-body
