WTB 8 1/4" shock plates and u bolts

Looking for shock plates and u bolts with nuts for a 8 1/4" rear end for my project 68 barracuda. I know it's an a body but I also posted on FABO. I am in hollister ca 95023.

Have your old 7 1/4 plates? You can use them in the mean time by elongating the holes. I beat on mine for a couple of years till I got my new/old plates. You will need 3" u bolts. The type with the flat area along the top are the best so the tubes don't get crushed.

I have a set of 8 1/4 spring plates and I believe I have 4 u bolts from a 72 charger. Not sure if that will work for u.
