WTB 8 3/4 Rear Axle 5.38 5.57 6.14 Ratio Gears

Hi looking for performance gear ratio ring and pinions for the 8 3/4 axle. It does not matter if its the 742 or 489 case. Manufacturers no longer make these ratio's (5.38, 5.57, 6.14) for the 8.75 and I am unable to find someone that can make me a 1 off ring and pinion. Thanks!

Saw some 513's on eBay for the Chrysler 8.75

They were scarce back in 1970, if fact I don’t remember ever seeing anything over 6, very few 5.38 and they lasted 10 runs at best. Good luck
It might be 6.17 instead 7x43 or 6x37 not many pinion teeth is the weak point

Not enough pinion teeth, a problem with any rear. The more teeth the more even the load. A friends M/P Corvette with a Dana 6.17 didn’t last much longer. Fords 9” would last longer because of the bearing on the end of pinion. This is a 5.86 Dana 7 teeth, not much working room

I have a used set of 5.13 gears in my 742 case that I used years ago for 2 weekends at the track. Car didn't like them so went back to 4.89's.
