Looking for info on A 12 hoods. My '69 Road Runner has an orginal, supposedly. It is not an A 12 car. Was wondering how they were built. Hood top shell and then build in the structure for a skeleton and scoop attachment? The hood that I have has had some really bad repairs, plus had rear hood hinges added. It still retains the 4 pin locations and I do have the rear pin brackets. I'm going to leave it as it is, but just try and undo the poor repairs and try to make the bottom look orginal like mat fiberglass, vs bid cloth.
Assuming that what I see in the middle of the hood is the correct mat fiberglass.
