That car was written about in the early 1990’s IIRC, possibly later.I thought it was the only one with an orange factory interior. I do have the write up about it somewhere. One of Busch’s sons wanted to purchase it. Offered a very high amount, which was flatly turned down.
The car was sold after its racing career was over. Seemed to disappear, until it was sold to I believe the present owner. Will have to dig through my pictures.
Quite the story on how it was able to get back to the USA.
