FOR SALE A Dozen 8 3/4 Third Members

I have two low mileage 741 Third members
with Suregrip out of my 63 and 64 Max wedge cars
They are both 3.91 OEM gears and were
very low miles. In back of shop for 50 years
$950. Each Only a couple thou miles at the most!

I have a bunch of 8 3/4 Third members with Lightweight
(Mostly strange) Spools = 410/456/475/488/513/538/543/557
Mostly 742 cases but couple 489 cases in these sets
Choice $850. Most only a couple passes down the strip testing
them for a article.

They only made one run of 475 gears 20 years ago!

The broken rearend is out of my son's H/SA 73 Roadrunner 400
We believe it to be one of the fastest OR the fastest Stock 400
in the world. It in thefinals at Arizona Nationals (You might have seen it on TV) 4000 lbs. in the 10's(1.4 @ 60 Ft.) is tough on 8 3/4!! Now it has Dana 60
We did get 8 years at the track out of stock 8 3/4 with stock caps
The great thing about 8 3/4 is that you can easily change rears between
passes and find out what ratio the car performs with = sometimes what
it likes best is a surprise!
