While I have my heart set on a 69 Charger, I'm also looking at other 69 options in lower price ranges. Did Super Bees & Road Runners also have the same options: Center console, Shifter on the floor & Bucket Seats (can't stand bench seats)? I've seen some cars like this and I've been trying to find online owners manuals to no avail to verify what was offered. I'm looking for a car that is stock, not a resto/mod.

Also when was Hemi Orange offered as an exterior paint color.

Thanks in advance!
Roger

Yes those options were available on other cars in 69'. Hemi orange was one of the first high impact colors iirc came out in 69'?
Btw hopefully someone has the link but there's a site you can download the manuals.

Thanks! Just need the link.

Yes, buckets/console was available on RR & SB. But, a bench/pistol grip is badass ! and, V2 tor-red/hemi orange was an available HIP color.

I can tell you that the '69 Road Runners came that way. Mine is exactly as you listed.

We currently have a 69 Coronet R/T 440 with auto and AC. Bucket seats and console. So there is another option for you to consider.

Pretty sure that the only way to get a Super Bee in 68 was with a bench seat. Buckets were available in the R/T.

You are correct. '68 Bees were bench seats and were all 2 door "post" coupes.
The OP is asking about '69 model year cars, however.

In my ancient mind, the orange color was coded 999 in 69,as it was not on the stock menu of colors ?

I was answering the OP's question in a round about way by stating that bench was only option for 'bees in 68, meaning that buckets were available in 69...could of worded it better I suppose...

No worries. :)
As you state, in '69 the bench was still standard equipment on Bees (and RoadRunners), with buckets becoming optional then.
