Until the hubby hits a bump and wifey falls onto the road then it's life ins collecting time...which could bring another form of balance to the Mr.'s life, maybe even enough to buy the 4th wheel before a trip to Vegas...

"A good wife" can cook for us Neanderthal'; dogs&burgs is all I'm good for. The daughter did salmon on the grille one time- Heaven!

I saw a Korean wife carrying a 55 gallon drum (empty?) on her head and a newspaper tucked up under her arm, following 10 feet behind her husband. The newspaper was his and he wasn't carrying a thing.

Saw a open-window bus in DaNang hit a 2-1/2 truck and everyone came flying out the window openings. 'Mama-san' flew out and skidded on her front, rubbed her chest and kept on walking!

Cranky was the 'like' for the grilled salmon? Oldest son ordered it soaked in seawater from Washington state for my birthday-- Heaven!!

Off topic but, blackened swordfish.

I was elk hunting in Colorado once a number of years back. You're hiking up and down mountains carrying your rifle and all your gear. It's no easy type of hunting. It's a lot of work. I look over and see a Japanese/Korean ( not sure which) couple of hunters. On closer inspection - it was an Asian man leisurely hiking the mountain with his wife following about 5 yards behind him carrying his rifle and a back pack with both of their gear. A sight I never forgot. I've been all over Asia many times since and have seen worse - but at the time - being a white boy from Minnesota that really blew my mind. Bring that up to an American woman and you'll be swallowing lead as you're running naked down the side of the mountain trying to save yourself ...

THAT is just so wrong--
