A sharp edges cold front

Sudden cold front in the Midwest unusual?
Not hardly!
Yes a cold front through the Mid-West is not unusual.
But a 800 mile thin dividing line between the two air masses like that is.
At least I think so.

25 to 35 wind still but at least it's not in the high 30's anymore. It's now 43. Supposed to hit a whopping 50 today after being in the mid 70's all week. At least the sun is shinning :)

Temp 24 yesterday morning. -24 wi d chill this morning with -9 temp. Brrrrrr

I'm in North central Florida and we have a freeze warning for tomorrow night. . So I finally got my wish!.. I wanted cooler weather. But this is ridiculous!

New London is in the center of Minnesota. International Falls, Mn is way up North and gets the extrema cold.

60 here and raining, washing all the snow away... Wind is really picking up.. At least I got to take out my new toy for a day last weekend...

stay safe & warm/dry people, keep Jack Frost at bay

Merry Christmas

I once lived on the west edge of Minnesota. That winter, it was below freezing for over 3 months without a break. In the middle of that 3 months was one month of below zero, without a break.
The seats in my Charger were solid, like park benches, when first sat in.

its damn scary outside....... wind is howling, surrounded by big trees........raining sideways

tried taking the boy outside to pee/poop..........he wants no part of it WTF

It's been in the 30s here, now 60*. Stays 45* in the garage and now things are getting condensation on them. 70% humidity at the moment. Got the fans running. I hate these drastic weather changes.

I watched the radar and waited for a dry patch between lines of heavy rain......... Rebel wasted no time taking a dump and all is right with the world....... we will now both be able to sleep through the night without interruption........Merry Christmas to me

It's been very windy here since yesterday morning and temps above 55* all day and night. A foot of snow is gone over night and streams running through the pastures. Looks like spring out there. Even the piled up snow from plowing is melted and gone. Crazy weather.

In my youth I was a downhill ski racer. The winter of '71-72 we had 4 weekends between late Dec & late Jan where the temp never got above zero. Tough racing those weekends. But youth sure does have an advantage!
