Recently this sold on the for sale forum. 71-74 B Body PDB master cylinder 3461187. Kudos to whoever sold and bought it. I waited to post this after it was sold as to not interfere. Anyways, in looking for a correct master cylinder for my car, I found one at NAPA. Really. I do get a little more favor from them because I do a bit of business with them but the guys that usually work these places are car guys too. They have access to a quality rebuilder and they list the part numbers for the master cylinders and ordered me in 2 to pick from. We joked that it would take 6 or 7 to get the right one but the second one was the right part number and pretty decent. I swapped an original cap from the first one and my bail and put my old core in the box. My cost was like 23-25 bucks. The one I sent back was a new repo junk. I was prepared to send it to Apple Hydralics to get it rebuilt but it actually was a nice rebuild so I'm putting it on after a detail. There it is. With a little bit of luck and a willing counter guy, restoration parts may be as close as the nearest Napa store. They also had ac gaskets and door pin kits cheaper than Ebay!

I got slim (71-74 hidden) wiper blades there for $8 ea.

Ebay best price was $28.

Do you have a NAPA part number for the MC?

Their website shows like 4 different reman units for '72 B-body (and a few 'new' ones)

I never left the store with the box so I don't know, sorry. He just ordered whatever it called for and we took a chance on what would come. It was the more expensive reman. that they offer.
