A weekend of 64's bought

[Rolling Thunder]

Bought two new additions this weekend. A 64 Polara 500 383hp 4spd black on red car and a 64 440 2dr sedan Anniversary Gold on Gold. Yay!!!!!

Polaras pics are from when buddy went and bought a couple years ago and put away in storage. Has been in storage and not touched since then.

2dr Sedan has a great body and is complete minus engine and trans...she shall be worked on first

Pulled the nappy keystones off back today cause they were just barely bolted on to make roll and replaced with some classic patinated cragars...oh yeah. Best part of this? When pulled keystones noticed rear axle had been replaced with a later non tapered axle unit!!!! AND its got a 3.23 sure grip too! Seller did not mention this and Im not sure if he even knew. It just keeps getting better

64 polara 500 makes it home

Brought the ole girl home this weekend. Rusty but saveable, original paint still shines 383 4bbl, 4spd, buckets console, tach, reverb radio, dual exhaust, sure-grip and more. Found build sheet behind seat back and certicard in glove box. super cool car.

Haven't attempted. Engine spins by hand. Going to pull valve covers and plugs and prelube before trying but see no issues and was parked as runner. Going to run off fuel can

On the two 64s that I have owned, I found the good "broadcast" cards taped on the glove box, under the dash. They had all the signatures on this one. They are always in good shape too! Good luck with your finds you dog!
