What's up everyone. This is going to make someone really happy. So back in 1969 my dad was hanging with his buddies and at thier shop was a a12 car.. well one of the mechanics forgot to pin the hood down and the customer drove out of the driveway, punched it and the hood flew off the car, landing on the front corner. My dad was given the broken hood. We almost threw it away in 95 but I told him not to. I forgot about it until 2 days ago. I have it and it is for sale. I have pics and my dad is still alive so he can verify the story, but the color of the fiberglas and the structure of the underside is a dead giveaway. It's still busted.. we never tried to repair it. Thank 15 y/o me for not letting my dad trash it. Asking $800 . It can be repaired and it now has a chance to go back on a car it belongs with and do what it was built to do.. whoop on some Chevy's an Ford's . Private Message me if interested. Thank you, George

I wish it didn't have the damage that it does, but as my dad explained it to me,and I quote " he pulled onto the street and punched it. He got about 50 yds down the road and the thing took off like a rocket and landed right on that bad corner. The kid looked at it and said, here you take it" he had a new hood on the car the next time I saw him. Probably had mommy or daddy buy him a new one, *$#@( he said a bad word there). Lol

. He took it home and shuffled it around for a few years and then put it in the weeds up at my great uncle so farm until I unearthed it in 1995. Him and my brother wanted to throw it out, saying it was a broken piece of shhhh. I wouldn't let them. We shuffled it around our shop until it found a home way in the back on an industrial shelf. I was looking through the hoods so I could get rid of our non Mopar stuff and BAM.. found it..
