a904 rear clutch pack clearance

im rebuilding an a904 1974 transmission and right now with 3 driven plates and 4 friction plates i've got about .020 clearance in the rear clutch pack under the snap ring. the snap ring is about .075 thick so i'm just figuring if i move to a .060ish snap ring it should be fine then clearance wise. can anyone confirm if the snap ring in the picture below will fit my clutch pack. it says it's for 727 but i can't find one that says 904 anywhere so i'm guessing they're the same size. can anyone confirm if it'll fit and if it'll work thanks

904 clutches are smaller in diameter than 727s. So, no it will not fit. I'm beat today but, I will look in my parts stash tomorrow and let you know if I can help.
