I might do a trade for a 66 belvedere 440 2x4 727 set up. I have a Pather Pink 73 383 4 speed Cuda. Both are in really good shape.
What I would like is advice on value. I get the feeling he would want me to add $$$. He has it listed as a 66 Plymouth GTX but I don't think they made GTXs in 66.
Thanks

A couple of observations. No 383's in 73 so your Cuda (or Barracuda) is most likely a 318 or 340 car, or maybe a 360? What's the 5th VIN digit? If it's a 340 and / or original 4 spd those are kind of rare. You are correct that there are no GTX's in 66. Is the 66 a Bel I or Bel II? Bel II is a hard top. Either case the original engine was probably anywhere from a 6 to a 426 HEMI as 440's were not offered in B bodies that year. Bottom line is the Cuda or Barracuda is a much more desirable car to the masses so you may be the one getting money back on the deal - unless your car is a rust bucket or something. Wouldn't hurt to check the 5th VIN digit on the 66 Bel. If it's H then it's a HEMI!!!

IIRC 1966-

C=225
D=273
E=318
F=361
G=383
H=426

1973-

C=225
G=318
H=340
Don't think any 360 till 74
No BB in E body after 71

...IIRC

Yes my Cuda had a engine transplant, it was a 340/4 speed car. I am not to sure about the belvedere, he did not say if it is a I or II. But thanks very much for the info on the 66, should be usefull.
We are very early in the talks LOL...we are going to meet this weekend. I just needed some idea of what to look for.
Thanks Guy's

Lots of luck!!!Maybe he should give you the $$$
Petty Blue 67 gTx

Ultimately it's your decision- both cars modified-(no73/383. 66/440). E-bodies do tend to bring more money than b-bodies, but it really becomes a question of personal taste and enjoyment. (But I'd go over his car with a fine tooth comb before giving any extra cash...) Just my .02
