Yeah winter taken the hotter air that rises, off the ceiling
circulating it down & making it flow down the walls,
if there's a heat source in there, will help
the exact reverse rotation as in the summer months
Maybe either 2) 36" (or 42"- 48" even better), garage ceiling split into like 3rds,
maybe cheaper, initially, to buy the fans, may circulate the whole garage better too
but;
1 big fan will probably be cheaper on electricity in the long haul
60" fan in a in a 4-5 or more blade, would be better then a 3 blade,
in any situation
in my experience, I ghad industrial fans in my warehouse,
from Grainger's
Also we use ceiling fans (in several sizes in a 1,600 sqft house, not that big)
in every room of the house, min. of 4 blade most are 5, 48" is the normal ones
I have a 36" right above my chair at my desk, I'm 'a sweater' when it gets hot
I can deal with cold/cool air
it's not that big of a house,
but it gets hot here 100*f + summers, helps makes the A/C more efficient
It seems like it helps more in the summer to cool, then winter, to help heat
but it still works
my Electric bill is always higher in the winters, like 33%+,
as soon as it get below freezing
like $175-$200-US summers & $300-$350US winters
(Pacific Gas & Electric, most expensive Electricity in the country)
