Got one for the Aftermarket AC Installers -
My Question is - When installing a complete aftermarket AC system - What Firewall Insulation (Under dash) did you go with? There are typically 2 kits for b-bodies (The fiberglass with black cardboard stuff) - One with and one without AC.
Or would it be better to go with the foil/butyl stuff on the interior firewall. I've even ran across a system that is intended to go on the engine compartment side.
I'm considering Classic Auto Air system in my '68 Charger, as my car apparently came with AC and a 318 originally. By the time I purchased this car, both had been pulled in favor of a Heat only and 440... And never had any padding up-under there.
