As anyone try using Tanks Meter Match device to correct the sending units signal to the fuel gages? I installed Holly‘s in tank fuel pump with sending unit, with the tank full, it reads 1/3 on the gas gauge.

Does anyone have any advice on correcting the signal?

Where did you place the meter match near the tank or under the dash?

Left kick panel. That's where I cut the sender wire. Then ran power off the tachometer 12 volt feed and ran a ground wire. I had the tank bone dry and added 3 gallons and set the low side so the needle was on E. That way there is a reserve. What ever the tanks capacity is 19 gallons? What ever that is I added more so the tank would be half full and set the gauge for dead on half. Then I filled the tank to the brim and set the gauge so it was one needle width past the F. You have to let the gauge rise and tap the cluster to get it in the right spot. It takes a minute or so to get the gauge settled in for better accuracy.

Do I have to empty the tank, add fuel like you did?

Right now my tank is full, and my gauge is reading 1/3 total.

I would if you want it accurate. Run your tank down and drain off the rest. You will be way happier doing it once and have it right.
