Air gap manifold

Any of you run an Edelbrock RPM air gap manifold on a 71-72 road runner (small block)? The hood is pretty low, and I'm wondering if it will clear.

I have one on my 440. I had to go to a 2 Inch element air cleaner. I would think you would have more room than I do on a small block.

Hmm.... Already running a drop base air cleaner as is, so the extra 1/2" or so taller over the current manifold I'm running could be a deal breaker. Thanks for the reply.
