Airbus A320 crash in France this morning

Another reason why I wouldn't want to fly on an Airbus...too many strange accidents involving their aircraft over the years. I'll take a train or drive!

Given the choice I'll fly on a Boeing plane every time if I absolutely have to fly somewhere. I hate flying commercial airlines anymore. Like I've said before, they are just Greyhound buses in the sky.

Another air tragedy. I wonder if there will be enough of the flight recorder to find out the reason? I don't understand the Airbus bashing though.

I just watched a show about an Air Bus crashed because of aggressive moves by the co pilot caused the rear upright to shear off, crashing the plane.

My condolences go out to all the crew, pilots & passengers families losses

Correct "smitty"
I despise the Airbus airplane!
I tell you guys, it's always an Airbus going down!

Did you know they are allowed to use "corrosive solder" on all their avionics circuitry?

No American made aircraft is allowed to use corrosive solder on any circuitry

Airbus is French right? Nevermind. On HGTV, bathrooms without sinks are referred to as "very French. That's enough for me. I fly aircraft that start with 7's.

After Qantas flight 72, and Rolls Royce being sued over "critical safety issue" (manufacturing flaw) that could have killed 469 people.
I will never fly on any Airbus..don't trust them (cheese eating surrender monkey's)

--- Technically, yes, but the plane's components come from all over the EU - UK, France, Spain, Italy, Germany.

--- Absolutely!!!

It's not ALWAYS an Airbus going down...unless it's on a landing approach. :)

Boeing 737 = 158 major accidents (hull-loss)
Airbus A320 = 23 major accidents (hull-loss) [including all variants; a318, 319, 320, 321]

They are 12% French owned as their part of the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company.

I wonder what kind of solder is used at the Mobile, Alabama A320 factory?

OK SCAREBUS LOVERS,,,,,TALK TO ANY AIRLINE MECH,, COMPARED TO BOEING THEY ARE YUGO OF THE AIR,,, AMERICAN AIRLINES SCARE BUS TAIL FALLS OFF IN NYC AFTER 911,,,CHEEP *** DESIGN,, HOW MANY BOEING TAILS FALL OFF IN FLIGHT...AND AIR FRANCE ATLANTIC OCEAN TOOK TWO YRS THATS 24 MONTHS, FOUND OUT PITOT TUBES ICED OVER , DESTROYING ALL AIR SPEED DATA TO FLIGHT COMPUTER,,WTF THIS IS OUT RIGHT CRIMINAL DESIGN ,,,AIRWORTHY DIRECTIVE SENT OUT TO ALL SCARE BUS OPERATORS FOR NEW ONES TO BE INSTALLED ,,,PILOTS OF SCARE BUSSES ARE FLIGHT MANAGERS NOT PILOTS,,,,THAT SCARE BUS FLIGHT COMPUTER DOES ALL FLIGHT CONTROL INPUTS,,NOT ALWAYS WHAT THE PILOT WANTS,,,,THE TECHNOLOGY ON THE FLIGHT COMPUTER HAS COST TO MANY LIVES ,,,IT IS TIME TO MAKE A FULL FAA (never will happen) INVESTIGATION OF DESIGN FLAWS,,,,I HAVE GIVEN ONLY 2 EXAMPLES,,, AIRLINE EXPERTS CAN COME UP WITH MORE EXAMPLES OF FATAL DESIGN FLAWS IN THE SCAREBUS,,WHY HAVE WE NOT HERD ANY MORE ABOUT AIR MAYLASIA CRASH IN SHALLOW WATER SHORTLY AFTER TAKE OFF??????

Looks like they had an 8 minute decent at 3,000 per minute with no radio contact or distress signal during that time. Very curious indeed.

A friend of mine knows someone that works for the FAA. This guy will rebook his flight if it is on an Airbus. He refuses to fly on an Airbus. What do all these comments have in common?

-Airbus is "European-funded"
-A conglomerate of Countries build and financially support/subsidize the Airbus corporation.

One interesting note on the "Flight-computer-plan" style of design: Airbus incorporates a "Pilot Hands Off" flight program essentially placing control in the flight computers. This discourages immediate "pilot" hands on tactics as opposed to the Boeing approach where the computers and pilot share and can compliment each other.

-Also interesting to note: This is the 3rd Airbus to go down in 4 years with similar "Radical departure of flight" characteristics.

This is NOT to include the 2 Airbus aircraft that disappeared into the:
1. Java sea (found)
2. Indian Ocean (Still not found)

Also: Most pilot training will instill with in the training fligh check list (DASH 1) during a crisis to:
1. Aviate
2. Navigate
3. Communicate

The Dash 1 tells pilots to first: Fly the jet, delegate the emergency and then to communicate, declare the I.F.E (In Flight Emergency)

Hmmmmm, could this be why..................

It is NOT the solder that caused the crash
More importantly, it is the "Standards" that Airbus allows, or REDUCED standards.

Airbus allows practices that America does not allow on their commercial fleet.

So, essentially, a "TREND" has been introduced, whereby Boeing does not allow.

No, I do not work for Boeing, never have,, never will
I do work side by side with a Consolidated TEAM consisting of Air Force, Boeing, Lockheed-Martin and Pratt & Whitney

I'm flight test for the USAFs F22
Expert?
HELL NO

So: What have we learned?
Nothing other than:
1. Airbus performs practices that American aircraft companies do not adhere to. Definitively.
2. Most importantly Foreign Airlines do not operate as America's airlines companies.
-A) America's airline pilots are not "pooled" out like a Union Hall does with labor, but that is how many foreign airlines operate.
-B) American pilots have much more training than foreign pilots

All in all we can emphatically confirm that most Air Disasters are caused by Human Error.

ok scarebus lovers,,,,,talk to any airline mech,, compared to boeing they are yugo of the air,,, american airlines scare bus tail falls off in nyc after 911,,,cheep *** design,, how many boeing tails fall off in flight...and air france atlantic ocean took two yrs thats 24 months, found out pitot tubes iced over , destroying all air speed data to flight computer,,wtf this is out right criminal design ,,,airworthy directive sent out to all scare bus operators for new ones to be installed ,,,pilots of scare busses are flight managers not pilots,,,,that scare bus flight computer does all flight control inputs,,not always what the pilot wants,,,,the technology on the flight computer has cost to many lives ,,,it is time to make a full faa (never will happen) investigation of design flaws,,,,i have given only 2 examples,,, airline experts can come up with more examples of fatal design flaws in the scarebus,,why have we not herd any more about air maylasia crash in shallow water shortly after take off??????

should have included ,,,i am retired lead mechanic/inspector from a major airline,,,you could not pay me cash to fly on a scare bus,,,that faa person wont either,,, speaks volumes,,,,only more people killed on the bus will bring any changes, even then probably not ,,,,sad state of affairs in the airline industry,,,:angryfire::angryfire::angryfire:
