Like we stole them.
Well, I don't "Birdsong" Fred so much, but I do exercise him through the gears like I was at
the strip fairly often....
Well ok, every time I get him out...:-)
I still contend there's no sweeter sound in the world than a 440 singing up through the RPMs
with the exception of one other engine - NOTHING on earth sounds like a 426 Hemi at full song!

if FL we can use the tag issued in the year the car was made. Also - they are county assigned numbers. Leon (state capital #13) is hard as hell to find.
The one I had on my Challenger will go on my 70' GTX one day.....

MD lets us run YOM (Year Of Manufacture) tags if we want. I have 1970 tags on my Charger (white with blue letters) and 1972's on my Satellite (blue with white). Have to get current "historic" tags first for the "official" registration, and keep those in the trunk or glovebox. Supposed to renew those every 2 years. I'll probably remember to do that.

Probably.

You're lucky to be allowed to do that
In this case it's not what you know, but who you know. I have two very good friends down there and when new tags come in, they and the whole office always put away desirable tags for their own cars. It's sort of like personalized tags without the added fee. My wife choses to pay the fifty bucks for her personalized tag.
