Have my Thermoquad apart and with a suspected internal fuel leak. What can I use besides gas to fill the wells to test for leaks.

Thanks

If its all apart you could use water.

Can't use water surface tension. Fill a glass of water then very carefully, you fill can it above the rim. Glass has to be dry around rim.

Even a bowtie forum may be useful on occasion.......

If you're worried about the smell in the house, you can also use low odor paint thinner.

As Fran pointed out. Water won't show leaks due to surface tension.

Just use gas..... :poke:
Will use gas and do it outside.
FYI when I opened it up found gas in the two indentations on throttle body where the bumps of fuel bowl sit. See photo.

Almost ready to quit the thermoquad, and recommendations on a Edlebrock replacement?
