Alternator

I got a re-man Denso and bought the bracket kit from Mancini. Since I don't have injection,
electric fuel pump, dual fans up front or any power gobbling ting-tings, I don't need lotsa
amps. Also changing everything I can to LED's. This is just a problem that Ma Mopar never
addressed correctly. It's up to us to fix!

These are all the reasons that I went with a Denso alternator on my 440. Internally regulated, and
charges at idle. The original design wasn't sufficient to charge at idle. View attachment 1354601

Too bad that's my car with a 400 in that pic and not your car with a 440....lol

Hey, Thanks for the pic!. I go on Google Images and grab alot of pic's for reference purposes.
When I can't remember where something went, I go through the "collection". So, here's mine now.

The Denso alternators are an excellent replacement except...
When the internal regulator goes bad..

The Denso regulator is on the back under the sheet metal cover, and can be changed in ten min!
