Aluminium dashes

Hi I am after some Ideas regarding different options for a replacement dash for my 74 satellite, I have been looking at the Jegs performance ali dash and was wondering if any one has already fitted one or has used something similar I know going down this route is a bit of a cop out in terms of restoration but hey that's more money to spend on the motor right?
Any pics of race cars or stripped out pro street cars would be great for inspiration, I have scanned through the show threads but haven't seen too many in that particular style so any pointers or links to paticular threads would be great.

Search "custom dashes" or "custom guages" and you'll find plenty of threads with pics of people that have fabbed them out of aluminum.

I bought the one from S&W race car universal and wide enough for a 5" speedo to go on the face. Here's a picture, just installed one this past week into my dads 68 charger as well.
