I just bought some Amer Rac Torq Thrust wheels, VN 309 series. They call for 60* conical lugnuts, but seem like they could use an extended shank for mounting ? I just have the standard 1/2×20 studs. What is everyone using ? Thanks for the input...

I just mounted the exact same wheels 2 months ago and used these. They also come in LH thread. I also ditched the hex head center cap screws for #2 stainless phillips. Much easier to r & r.

I bought Summit Racing brand conical set for mine. Lots to choose from. No extra length studs required.

Blue Loctite the threads on the center cap screws if you want to prevent one from falling off. Ask me how I know.

"The" wheel. Back in the mid 60's I wanted to buy a set of these wheels. I didn’t know how specify backspace and couldn't afford $50 a wheel.

Did a quick run to check out the balance up front, and re-torque the lugs...
