Another 2 speed vs 3 speed wiper motor differences post. Would appreciate some input.

Yup. Push button washer. I can't recall if the wiper switch has the resistor so I'll pull the dash or stick my cell camera up there at some point and check it out. It looks like wires are cut on the motor, not sure, so I have to figure out what's going on there. When I tried to turn on the wiper switch a while back, I want to say I noticed the wiper arms barely move, if at all, and then I shut it off so I'll check it out again.

Thanks all,
Mikey

No resistor on wiper washer

Thanks for the replies. Question - my switch has 3 positions - off, normal and high and my Rallye dash also has 3 positions - off and 2 positions, presumably normal and high. Would the 3 speed switch not have a total of 4 positions along with the dash?

Hey all,

Merry NY eve. So an update on this - I did the bench test and my wiper works... except for park, which is odd because I got it to work once when I bench tested it. After that, it was just low and high and park no workie.

I did look under the dash and it looks like I have a 2 speed switch because there is no resistor on the switch. And I can only get the low speed to work via the switch. Does that sound right for a 2 speed switch on a 3 speed motor?

And another question - why do they call it a 3 speed motor if there are only low and high as the speeds? Or am I off base on that?

Thanks,
Mikey

Thanks Dave. I saw that post in looking for info. Trying to find a 3 speed wiper switch and they're not cheap.

Post a WTB thread, someone will have one for a fair price. Just wait for it.
