another harness question

mine is a 1970 Bee.

I don't currently have a wiring harness at all.

I'm going to use the Dakota Digital RTX dash.

With this in mind, should I still purchase a car specific harness?

I was considering an American Auto wire, but have read yall recommend the M&H

I like the M&H bought on for my Bee, but doesnt the dekota set up bypass most of the original wiring?

my buddy uses American auto wire all the time at his shop,he says they are great to use. He restore classic cars.
