Another Ignition Question

I put power down the dash harness and the car cranked. Plugged the switch back in and the car started.
I'll leave it a while and recheck

I know that. Wiring connects to the switch outer housing, where the contacts are found. Here's a link to wiring diagrams...

Eight wires go to the ignition switch, including said yellow wire.
Is the switch in the column? IF you only replaced the key part of the ignition switch, it's possible the housing contacts (when you turn the key) is bad.

The module with the wiring was replaced the key part wasn't
24hrs later it started fine. All i did was put some power with the probe down the dash harness yellow wire yesterday
 
Well after operating fine up to a few days ago the same problem has come back a couple of times,
frustrating
