Another stupid what goes here question..........

So I have spent the last 2 hours banging around this forum and Google and it seems I can't find the answer, I am sure it is here but so far no luck. Since I didn't take the car apart originally I am at a loss. What goes in the hole/tab shown at the rear of the fender at the firewall? I am assuming it is some sort of adjuster for the hood?

I kinda figured it was something like that but when I looked up hood bumper kit the particular kit I was looking at did not show them. Anyway thanks guys!

Yes the body plug and rubber bumper set dose not tell where every thing goes. Also if you even took the car apart your self at our age who can remember what happened 10 minutes ago. Glad the guy's could help and wish you luck on finishing your dream car.
