Any ASIA rock n roll fans?

I don't know all of thier stuff but I recognize them and like what I hear. Wasn't this band formed by some members of ELP?

Asia is pretty good but check out UK.
A prior version of Asia with Wetton, Holdsworth, Bruford, Jobson.
Wetton and Jobson wanted a more commercial "$" direction and split with
Alan Holdsworth and Bill Bruford.
Thus Asia was born.
Liquid Tension blows me away.
Saw the UK lineup in a bar the Agora in Cleveland back in the day.
It was an FM live broadcast. I have a copy on cassette.
Don't forget Brand X.
Got to see them in a bar at Kent and again at Kent in the Ballroom
without Phil Collins but still impressive. ALso broadcast live on KSU FM.
Got a master to cassette copy of that too.
My roomy was a KSU DJ and others were on the programing board for KSU.

I just love zombie threads that come back from the dead!

I was a big fan of Asia. I was in HS in '82 when they hit the scene and Heat of the Moment was played all the time on radio and MTV and Friday Night Videos. I think for my generation that was the best year for music.

I always liked them but nothing ever stuck with me, more of a southern rock and metal fan.
