A simple change over.

1. Go to Legendary Auto interiors OR SMS (?) Pick out color of your desire.

2. Go to a local upholstery shop, some specialize in Autos, show them what you want.

3. Remove seats and panels. You will probably want to send panels and head rests/dash to :Just Dashes here in So Cal (10 percent off now)
NOTE: Now that seats are out, sand blast frame and springs/supports and spray them black OR powder coat (I did that to my 63 Polara)

4. Drive car to shop and have headliner replaced OR do that yourself.

Only you can say if spending money on dyeing products to do it your self is worth it......not sure what the dye it self would cost (can't be much)...I suggest if you know anyone in the auto upholstery business it would probably be a good idea to consult with them to see what dye products work out best on which fabrics (I am sure there is a difference between fabric dyes for the home & automotive). I am sure there are all kinds of "how too" videos, sites, etc....on dyeing auto fabrics on the internet and which products work best........just spend a little time searching...
As for changing over to vinyl, Legendary is pretty much the best around if you want to stay with the original look.....if you want a custom look...I would check out some of the local custom interior shops in your area...I think you would be surprised of how one can get a really nice custom looking interior for really close to the same price of having a shop redo your interior with stock covers & panels.....

Seat covers from your local parts store would be your only option.Otherwise figure on a grand minimum to change colors.
