They're on the list. Thanks Cuda.
Removed the wheel moldings but decided to put them on. Found sport satellite fender badges so I got those. Now working on the trunk tray because it rattles, they put the new one over the old one. replaced the electric fuel pump because it was leaking and put back the split tail lamp on but blacked the inside lip to make it look a bit different
I can't say why, but I find it odd that my 70 V-code Roadrunner has the wheel moldings. 4 speed, NO factory console (I have a custom console now that I LOVE) manual brakes, manual steering (now power because the CVF Wraptor presented a good opportunity for PS and AC), but the switch from manual front disc/factory rear drum to 4x 6 piston Wilwood disc brakes still has a manual master cylinder because that's my preference, post car (I LIKE that!), no passenger side view mirror, no N96 until I added it... My point is that it seems a little odd to have put so many of the "checks in boxes" focused on performance, and to select the wheel moldings. I happen to like them, very much, but I'd be happy (I think) without them and the chrome and stainless blacked out.
I thought about painting them silver to tune down the chrome. Who knows maybe I will later but for know I prefer them on. the only good update is I got the rear trim panel that I needed. Finally ! After so many empty promises I finally found it. Great ! More chrome
I like them then i don’t buy they are staying on and now I’m debating on adding the passenger mirror
I think a passenger side mirror is a good safety addition, as long as the driver also looks in that lane before changing lanes. Having said that, a properly adjusted side mirror will usually eliminate blind spots, and in, for instance, an "I'm not going to be able to stop w/out hitting the vehicle ahead of me" scenario and the lane to either side is open, that mirror is just the ticket for an emergency lane change. I'm getting one, the only question is am I going to get a new matching pair or the "correct" one (remote operating adjustment would be a BIG plus)
I added a back camera and that’s helped a lot when anyone else drives the car on the mirror I just don’t want to drill any holes on the body
Lowered front a bit more Added the oer repro grill which by the way is junk but I had already past the expiration period so no choice but to keep Added Estelle Getty antenna prop Cleaned the engine a bit abd added the repro shroud and new fan I’m going to keep the old one and compare maybe I’ll remove it and compare it to the old one again shouldn’t have done that first but it looked like a good piece until I actually started putting it in anyways lesson learned
I'm having trouble seeing what makes you say that. What problems do you have with it?
It won’t line up let me show you plus you can see the silver over spray and they didn’t paint one trim ring silver so I had to do that left and right dont fit then I had to use only the center clip
This may show my stupidity, but that looks like a 70 GTX grille, not a 70 Roadrunner? My grill has vertical slats. See pic of mine recently taken
The one I had before fit nice and flush but had some cracks yeah you have a roadrunner I see sport satellites with the gtx grill so i ordered gtx since ThTs also what was on there before
Why thank you
Every satellite I see has gtx grill so o ordered the same since that’s what I had too
