Any plumbers in here?

at least it's not leaking! :icon_fU:
How long do you reckon the flexible pipe will last on this job I was at about 6 years ago - especially after drops a real colon-buster?

That's the kitchen cupboards below the toilet piping. :carrot:

If you are having cold water backflow problems to the water heater and you don’t know exactly where it is coming from then put a check valve at the outlet from the water heater. Also put a check valves on your main line. With check valves installed water can not back flow in the system. If you still have cold water issues anywhere after that it is more than likely your mixing valves, or if your in one of those god awful states that regulate everything it could be a temperature regulator in your hot water valve, which you can disable. I would also take all flow restrictors/screens (except dishwasher) and faucet screens off of everything and purge the system the best you can to remove any more debris.
Thanks, but I posted that it is fixed and the problem was, indeed, the mixing valve in the only single handed fawcett in the place. It's nice, hot showers, hot water for the washer, dishwasher works now. It's like heaven.

Thabks for all the responses but this is FIXED!!!
I just posted to thank the guys that stepped up to help me months ago.
