Any tank nuts here? WW1, WW2 Korea, Vietnam?

M36B1
In October 1944, there was a lack of M10A1 hulls to carry the M36 tank destroyer turret with its powerful tank-busting 90mm gun. There was however, a plentiful amount of Sherman M4A3 late hulls. With some minor alterations needed, mainly to accommodate the TD's larger ammo rounds. The result was the M36B1. It had the advantage of a thicker hull and even a bow machine gun. Tank Destroyers at the time did not have bow machine guns. Only 187 conversions were done, and handful of photos of these beasts in action. This made the M36B1 an excellent support weapon. Probably scared the hell out of the German's too. Seeing as, at first glance, it could be confused with a M4A3 and bang, 90 mike-mike hits your tank.
