Anybody busted the studs off the hood?

In removing the air grabber setup, I broke some of the studs in the hood. Anyone done this and if so, what is the way to replace them? Oh ya, car is a '70 GTX. Thanks.

Can you explain more? Are you talking about the hood mounting bolts, or the air grabber bolts? Any pics?

Yep, I twisted off about three of them. I got some matching grade 8 bolts, cut off the heads and welded them in place. Worked fine and looks perfect when the parts are back in place.

I did the same to my air grabber set-up...applied some panel-bond and it took pretty good...

Thanks for the replies guys. Yes, I broke the air grabber studs off the hood. When the time comes I guess I'll weld some bolts on. Probably the easiest solution. Cheers.
