So I love my wife and she has been really understanding with the whole car building experience and has even jumped in to help a few times but where we don't agree on is the color of our car.

It's a '69 RR and the original color was T5 Bronze Fire Metallic, she hates it I like it. The problem is I have seen a few different shades of the bronze and some I like and some I don't but I don't know which ones are correct. The very few spots I've found on my car that had somewhat decent paint still on it didn't really help me. Does any body have good pics of this color?

I hope so. That color looks sweet in front of that dock in the sun.

Maybe this will help....from the Hamtramck Historical website.

my dads car (the 69 charger) is T5, it was painted last in the 80's so it's not 100% correct but pretty close

I love the T5. You have to get a look at an actual car in the sun, under neon light, during twilight, the metallic in it lights up. Those paint chips just make it look like flat brown. It's a different color if your bored of red, blue and black.

Bronze/Copper is "hot" right now, and has been for a couple of years.

My Dak is one year only "Amber Fire" and I get comments about once a month.

T5 is an awesome color, especially considering how old it is.

What year was the turbine car? 62/63?

Thats the color almost (turbine bronze)That was gonna paint my gtx...The wife hated it...Since I,m a huge Petty fan we decided on petty blue..
Petty Blue 67 gTX

I checked out Donny's thread about his Satty...pretty cool but he only has one undercarriage pic. He stated he also added some more metallic to the paint than stock.

Vintage, do you have any larger pics of your car? Just from the signature pic that color really does pop, is that fully stock T5 no added flakes?

Yeah, I realized that too! Lemme find a good pic of the old T5 for ya, check on the thread in a few...
