I may be replacing the gas tank in my 64 Fury. RockAuto is out of stock on the Spectra tanks. But they have two listed under the brand name of "LILAND GLOBAL". One is a stainless steel tank, which is tempting. BUT, I have never heard of this brand. Anyone got any experience with it, or any review to share?

Liland was started in 1980 to participate in the auto parts aftermarket. It was founded by Charles T. Li, Jeng San Li and J. Richardson. The new Liland Global, Inc. is currently positioning itself for the global marketplace.

"Global" usually means Chinese, and all that goes along with it.

Everythings made in China these days. Even the Mopar repro stuff.. Thats why I want to find a good product and stay away from the bad.

Not everything.
Pic below is a yard full of steel made in Canton Ohio. For products made all over the USA.

OK, That's great. Now tell me which company is making reproduction gas tanks for 1964 Plymouths in the USA. I would rather support America. But, it seems that we are forced to buy our car parts from the Chicoms due to our manufacturing having been sourced over there. It is a bad situation, indeed!

Never heard of them. Why not try Spectra from Gas Tanks.com Get one that fits and works properly. https://www.gastanks.com/1964-65-Belvedere-1964-Fury-330-440-Polara-1965-Coronet/productinfo/CR-12B/

I just put one of these in my 1996 chevy pickup, i was impressed with the powdercoating that was on it, installed and works fine so far. Was the same price as the spectra at rockauto which was galvanized. Didnt care for the spectra i got for my 70 rr, the vents were not correct. Would go with the LILAND GLOBAL stainless one if you can swing it.

I was just saying it sounded like achineese company.
If that's ok with you it's ok with me. I have some Chinese stui on my car too.
