Make use of them...put 'em up for display and light them up. I used the C7 Christmas lights in the back. For the holders, I used the 3 or 4 white light string with the "springy clips" to hold into the housing.

(Guess I need a hobby, huh? Way too much spare time on my hands)

good idea wing. now i can use that xtra set of gtx lenses i got from one more run before they went out. cant bring myself to sell them.
i've also got an xtra 67 belvedere fender, petty blue with the sponsors on it. gonna stick a nascar style wheel and tire under it and mount it to the wall.
not really a roundy round fan, but i think it wil be cool.

If ya got an extra body laying around, do what this guy did below....my thought was to make a refrigerator out of it...

About 25 years ago in a Phoenix night club there was an old 30s model car cut in 1/2 on the wall. When you opened the door it went into the mens room.

About 35 years ago in Illinois there was a pizza place that was in an old gas station. It still had the old single post lift in it, and raised on the lift was an old Corvette with the frame painted and lots of chrome parts. There was a circular table built around the lift post. They also served their pizza in a wheel cover.

Cool!

I could do that with a set of 69 Charger lenses I have.

Can you snap a pic of the holders and the "springy clips" so I can get a btter idea of how you did yours. I'm sure I'll have to figure something different for mine, but a look at what you've done will give me a good head start.

Yea...I'll try and get out to the garage tomorrow and get a few pics.....I have the 70 Charger lenses on the right, the 66 & 67 Charger lenses in the middle, and the 73 Pontiac lenses on the left.

All of these were done in a way that if I ever needed the lenses that are hanging from the rafters, I could use them in a car.....no cutting or butchering was done to any of them

Here is the rear view and pics of the holders. I got the empty string of white bulb holders from leftover Christmas sales. Bulb in the photo is not the C7 Christmas style, it's from Lowes, 10 watts I think....I wanted them to be a bit brighter.
