I'm installing the Power Brake conversion from Right Stuff in my 1969 Roadrunner now and I think I may have the booster mounted too low. I used the original holes, but there are holes that would allow mounting the booster about 6 inches higher. I think I might need to use these since the brake lines don't fit right now (Right Stuff stainless lines). Here is a picture of the way it is currently mounted.

You mean the Wrong Stuff. Mine didn't fit either; after calling they said you need to modify your firewall. I called http://piratejack.net/ and they hooked me up. Knew exactly what I was talking about and exactly what I needed. Thing that sucks is now I have a Wrong stuff Booster and MC that I don't need and can't use. Also gave me the wrong e-brake cables (3 times), wrong front flex lines and 2 right rear calipers. Had to make the MC lines work (they didn't fit either)!

I have a 68 GTX and installed Right Stuff MC and power booster for front power brakes. Can't be much different for a 69 RR. They're practically the same car. Went in the original holes and everything is copesetic.

Thanks, any way you could get a picture of your installation? Especially the area where the bracket meets the firewall.

Don't manual brake cars and power brake cars use different holes?

IIRC, the holes on the manual M/C are closer to each other top to bottom.

Using the factory parts I think you're right, but when I told Right Stuff that the lines didn't fit they thought the booster might be too low. Just want to see someone's install of these parts so I know for sure where they mounted it.

I'll try to take some pics for you tomorrow. I'm having some problems with the car myself. No relation to yours. Pm me with your email address and I'll mail you some pics.

I sent you several pics. Let me know if they're to far away and I'll try and take some better shots of right down on the firewall.

Thanks for all the help. Pictures let me know my booster is mounted right and the lines they sent are wrong.
