Anyone know how I can get a title in Pennsylvania?

Every state. Even the ones you think have government overreach, are better than Pennsylvania. We have a yearly state inspection program here. Most states are dropping that or never had it. I’d heard that Florida dropped it a couple years ago. But I didn’t know California of all places never even had it. Pennsylvania will never get rid of it. Too much of a cash cow for repair shops and the state revenue.

Is Broadway Title Company still in "business" ? They used to handle this type of problem by getting you a Pink Slip from another state, then send this into Harrisburg DMV to get
a Pa title.

And Pennsylvania is a stickler on having both parties there to transfer ownership.

It wasn’t that way back in time. Going back to 1988. I bought a salvage ‘81 Mirada for my Mom off of the owner of the body shop I worked at. While we were both there st the notary, I signed my Dad’s name to the new Title and registration as it was going on his insurance. The lady there didn’t ask for my ID. Today they probably want two forms.

your car insurance company.

My dad used to go take care of my paperwork when I was working, he knew everyone and it was never a problem

FL has not had passenger vehicle inspections since before I moved here in 1988.
